A Speakers Afternoon will be held in the Talbot Social Club on Sunday 18 October starting at 1.00p.m.. Speakers will be Jim Morrison; Jim “Buller” Reid and A.N Other and a Buffet will be included. Tickets, priced £10.00, will be available soon from Colin Chisholm or Morton Wright Jnr.. Anyone wishing to donate raffle prizes for the event should contact Robert “Bud” Gibson and will be most welcome.

BEECHWOOD PARK STAND
The installation of the new seating has now been completed and the Stand will now be open at the next home match. Auchinleck Talbot FC wishes to thank the ground staff for the removal of the old seating, and Talbot fan Robbie Robertson who was ably assisted by Alex Gemmell in the installation work, a tremendous effort and achievement which is very much appreciated by all at the Club.

Talbot have signed teenager Martin Findlay from boys club football after he impressed during our pre-season friendly matches where he scored against Craigmark and Newtongrange. He also found the net against Muirkirk in the Ardagh Cup sectional match. He can play in defense or midfield and is the son of Talbot legend Ross Findlay who won five Scottish Cup medals during the Willie Knox era. Welcome to Beechwood Martin.
Big hearted Talbot fans belonging to the Affleck and Willie Young supporters clubs as well as a cash donation from Talbot fan Anne Burns presented the club with a defibrillator as the Talbot strive to upgrade every aspect at Beechwood Park. The club would like to thank both supporters clubs and of course Anne for their generous donation.
