Press & Media Info

All journalists and media should make contact with the club prior to approaching or contacting our playing or coaching staff directly.

All journalists and photographers/videographers require valid club media accreditation for fixtures at Beechwood Park, applied for on a match-by-match basis regardless of fixture.

To achieve club media accreditation, news desks must use the contact form on (or on behalf of the editor, or an equivalent senior position) no later than 48 hours before the fixture itself. The email should detail who will be attending, their title and the publication in which any report is intended to appear. The club may request proof of credentials, This will also include freelancers or newly established media organisations/outlets. The club are keen to promote all elements of coverage so this should not be viewed as a barrier.

If your application for club accreditation is approved you will typically receive a confirmation email and your details will be added to the press list for the specified game. To pick up your match pass, present the confirmation email, together with proof of your identity, at the main entrance to the ground. For some fixtures, Light refreshments will be provided to club accredited persons, details will be included within the confirmation email if refreshments will be provided at the chosen fixture.

Press and media parking spaces are on street surrounding Beechwood Park, however arrangements can be made in respect of accessibility considerations if required.

The club reserves the right to refuse requests for club accreditation which arrive after the deadline or do not fulfill the relevant criteria. If your club accreditation application is refused, you are more than welcome to visit Beechwood Park as a spectator and should not deter future applications. As above, accreditation is issued on a match by match basis with consideration to differing matches held at Beechwood Park.

No access can be granted to the tunnel area or dressing rooms for representatives of broadcast media that are non-rights holders, or to representatives of the press. Typically both Managers will exit the tunnel/dressing room area and return to pitch side for the purpose of interviews after the match. Each manager, player and club official can decline to be interviewed by non-rights holders at any time.

Trackside Photographers/Videographers must take a position at either goal end due to limited space at the side lines. Any change of position must be completed via the pathways and no person should enter onto the pitch at any time.

The club will typically issue a press briefing email on an individual basis, typically weekly on all updates at the club. This information is relayed by email to the media and all news outlets are welcome to be included within the email list.
