The John Davidson Special Service Award for 2018 has been given to lifelong Talbot fan, Jim McAuley, who was presented with the award prior to kick-off of the recent home league game against Clydebank.  Over the years Jim has dedicated a lot of his time to helping out the club in any way he can, where currently he is the Website Administrator, Programme Editor and he is also a member of the Beechwood Regeneration Committee as well.  Below is a picture of Jim, along with his wife Barbara (left), receiving his award from Janice (far right) and John Jr (right), wife and son of the late John ‘Speedy’ Davidson.

 

Auchinleck Talbot wish to congratulate Jim on receiving this special award and would also like to thank him for his continued support and help he regularly gives to the club, which is greatly appreciated.

 

Equal thanks also go to Janice and John Jr for their continued support to the club every season via this special service award.

The Club for their part will promote the good name of The KNOWE GARDEN CENTRE, who in turn will spare no effort to provide the best quality ground maintenance possible in supporting our ground staff.

Talbot were handed a home draw against North Region champions Banks O’ Dee in the recent William Hill Scottish cup draw. A win over the Dee will see Talbot entertain Wigton & Bladnoch in the second pre-lim match scheduled for September. The full draw as follows:
