THE JOHN DAVIDSON SPECIAL SERVICE AWARD 2018

Auchinleck Talbot FC is delighted to announce that Life long Fan Jim McAuley is the very worthy winner of this year’s John Davidson special service to ATFC Award. Jim is our Website Administrator, Programme Editor and a member of the Beechwood Regeneration Committee, he will be presented with the award prior to our home match against Clydebank on Saturday 18 August.

Talbot were handed a home draw against North Region champions Banks O’ Dee in the recent William Hill Scottish cup draw. A win over the Dee will see Talbot entertain Wigton & Bladnoch in the second pre-lim match scheduled for September. The full draw as follows:

The draw for the Scottish Cup premiminary first round will take place on the 16th July at 3pm at Hampden. Talbot will go into the draw with Tynecastle, Shortlees AFC, Girvan, Bonnyrigg Rose, Beith Juniors, Banks O’Dee, Burntisland Shipyard, Coldstream, Glasgow University, Golspie Sutherland, Hawick Royal Albert, Linlithgow Rose, Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale, Newton Stewart, Preston Athletic, St. Cuthbert Wanderers, Threave Rovers,Wigtown & Bladnoch. There will be seven ties and 5 byes with the winners going into Prelim 2 giving six ties with the winners going into the first round proper.
