AYRSHIRE AMATEUR CUP SEMI FINALS

Both Ayrshire Amateur Cup Semi Finals will be played at Beechwood Park on Sundays 1^st and 8^th May 2016.

The LSY Testimonial Committee are delighted to announce that Kilmarnock F.C. have agreed to provide the opposition for a Testimonial Match at Beechwood Park on Sunday 24 July with a 2.00p.m. kick-off. Kilmarnock Manager,Lee Clark, has also confirmed that the Kilmarnock squad will include first team players as they prepare for the start of their league campaign. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Kilnarnock F.C. and Lee Clark for their tremendous support. Further details will be issued in due course.

AUCHINLECK COMMUNITY SPORTS HUB

The club will be represented at the forthcoming launch of the Auchinleck Community Sports Hub. The event will be held from 12 noon until 2pm on Sunday 3/4/16 at Auchinleck Academy playing fields. Youth teams, Talbot coaching and playing staff will be in attendance to run free of charge training sessions / friendly games for youth football. The aim of the Sports Hub is to get more participation in sports activities throughout the area. More details can be found on the Hub’s Facebook page – Auchinleck Community Sports Hub.

BEECHWOOD REGENERATION UPDATE

The new toilet blocks will be open soon. A building standards completion certificate is required before they can be put into use. The committee are starting two new projects – new catering facilities to replace the existing pie-hut and extending the Main Street enclosure. It is hoped that both projects will be completed by spring 2017
