Talbot have released pictures of their 2023/24 first team kit which has seen a massive thumbs up from the fans. The new kit which is described   as a much lighter colour as last season’s highly sought after shirt will be on sale this Saturday between 2-5pm at the Talbot Social Club. Adult shirts are priced at £40 with childrens set at £30. Why not pop along and get your hands on the first edition.

Talbot were drawn away to League 3 side Port Glasgow in the recent Indigo Comms West of Scotland Cup after receiving a bye in the first round. The game will take place on Saturday the 21st October 2023 with a 2pm kick-off at the “Undertakers” Parklea Community Sports Facility. It seems strange to think that it’s nearly eight year since we last paid a visit to Parklea when we enjoyed a 4-0 Scottish Junior Cup win over our hosts on the 24th January 2015 with Campbell,  Spence,  Gormley and Shankland doing the damage.

The draw threw up some cracking first round ties with Cumnock hosting Troon and Benburb travelling to Beith. In the second round the draw was rather more mundane with the big guns staying well apart.
