BEECHWOOD REGENERATION COMMITTEE UPDATE

CATERING FACILITIES

An update from the Beechwood Regeneration Committee was provided at Sunday’s committee meeting. Quotes for the new catering facility are being finalised with grant applications now nearing submission. It is anticipated that this part of the process will take around three months. When results of the applications are known, the committee will be in the position to agree a timescale for the building to be completed. Finally, Club Representatives have now met with Lee Wilson, Sports Development Officer with East Ayrshire Council and more information will be made available soon.

Carrick Colts 1 Talbot 8

First half of the game saw the Carrick lads score the first goal, a team that looked up for a challenge this gave Talbot the wake- up call they needed to up their performance and to score which seen them equalising at half-time. The second half showed signs of Carrick’s confidence taking a nose dive as the Talbot lads stepped it up another gear scoring 7 goals and leaving the opposition out their depth another comfortable win and another well-earned 3 points.
