Auchinleck Talbot would like to thank all their sponsors, volunteers, players, staff and of course the supporters who have made this a highly entertaining season, culminating with the winning of the West of Scotland League Cup.
It’s been a roller coaster season with many ups and downs, but just like any other time we have battled on regardless, proving many doubters wrong. Talbot has been a benchmark in Scottish semi-pro football for many years due to their attitude of heads down, forget what’s going on at other clubs and strive to be the best you can.
We have completed a season with undoubtedly the youngest squad of players since “Jock McLean’s Bairns” from the late 50’s. This group of lads have done our club proud and have to be congratulated for their endeavour.
We now move into the new season where we will be involved in another set of changes and goals, but the club can step forward confidently as we have one of the most loyal fan bases in the Scottish Pyramid. Our sponsors throughout the season have been marvellous and we hope to see them all again as we embark on this new league set up.
As a supporter I would also like to thank Tucker, Alan and the backroom staff for a memorable season, but most of all the officials and committee of Auchinleck Talbot who work away in the background, keeping our club alive.
So see you all next season as another chapter of the Auchinleck Talbot story begins.
