Talbot Thanks
It was a busy day on and off the park in our first home league match of the season. On the park, Talbot were in clinical form as they rattled in seven goals past St. Cadoc’s while off the park there were several additional presentations as well as the usual Man of the Match Awards.
The Club wish to thank all our Match Sponsors. We were delighted to welcome R. W. Scotland Electrical Contractors for the first time. The boys had a great time, and we look forward to seeing them back again in the future. Additional Presentations
There were several additional presentations made including four delayed awards from our annual prizegiving day:
The MATTIE MCMURDO PLAYERS award was won by Austin Sime and presented by Mattie’s granddaughter Skye Scott.
The MILTON KEYNES SPORTSMAN’s award was won by Luke Gillies and presented by Bobby Millar.
The GARY MCPHEATORS COACHES award was won by Austin Sime and presented by Allan McCluckie.
The MKM Goal of the Season was won by Luke Gillies for his goal v Gartcairn, and was presented by Morton Wright Jnr.
St. Cadoc’s Chairman Ian Moir presented plaques to our management team of Tommy Sloan & Allan McCluckie in recognition of their 20yrs service to Auchinleck Talbot. Many thanks to everyone at St. Cadoc’s for this warm hearted gesture.
Man of the Match Awards
R.W. Scotland, Electrical Contractors picked Luke Main, and the award was presented by David Morrison.
Luke received his second award from Eileen Frew and Lisa Gemmell, with Lisa doing the presentation.
Allan Campbell presented the Killie Travel Club award to Luke Gillies.
Ewan Thomson received the Mauchline Bowling Club award, and this was presented by Johnny Eaglesham.
The Billy Blackmore & Robil Driving School Award was won by Neill McPherson and presented by Stan Noble.
Luke Main secured his hat-trick of awards when selected by The Loons Supporters Club. Martin Lynch made the presentation.
