Admission: Adults £10, Concessions & Under 16s £5

Bonnyrigg Supporters will be allocated the North West area of the stand. Auchinleck Talbot supporters will be housed in the South West area of the stand.

There will be 4 turnstiles in operation, 2 at each end. The turnstiles will open at 2pm and close between 3.15 and 3.30pm.

There will be a steward at each entrance and they will carry out searches of spectators to make sure that no alcohol is taken into the ground, there will also be a police presence.

The gate will be cash only. No card payments or pre-sold tickets

There will be a limited number of match programmes available for purchase, cost £2

Refreshment kiosks will be open for spectators.

The car park will open from 1pm.

Team buses will park in the designated coach parking area.  Supporters buses will also park in this area.

The club held their annual Sportsman’s Dinner at the indoor Bowling Green in Auchinleck, where Murdo MacLeod and Eric Davidson were the guest speakers (see image below).

An excellent evening was had by all who attended and the club would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the occasion.

Talbot will travel to the Falkirk Community Stadium to take on Lowland League Champions Bonnyrigg Rose in the final of the Traderadiators.com South Challenge Cup on Sunday the 22nd May at 3pm.

The venue is all seated and holds just over 7,000 fans. It is also 4G astro turf which will not give any of the teams an advantage as they both play on grass at their home grounds.

Admission prices have still to be released.

Talbot have now released photographs of the John Holroyd wall to commemorate the fundraising John did for the Beechwood Regeneration Committee. The plaques on the wall were bought by fans and businesses with the money raised going to further improvements at Beechwood.

DAW & SADIE CLELLAND – 70^th Wedding Anniversary

Auchinleck Talbot recently acknowledged the achievement of the 70^th Wedding Anniversary of Daw & Sadie Clelland when Daw was presented with a bottle of whisky by club legend Willie Young prior to a recent match.

Many of you will recognise the weel kent faces of Daw and Sadie; Daw has been a stalwart fan of the Talbot for many, many years – he even played a few matches in goals for “The Bot” back in the day, something he likes to remind his family of now and again! He continues to attend home matches regularly and is photographed with his great friends John Fleming, Billy Paterson, Davie McGuire, Frank Marshall & George McLeod. Also in the photograph are Willie Young and Derek McDicken, with a few other “legends” in the background.

Daw (96) and Sadie (93) were married in Auchinleck Parish Church on 15th March 1952. They were allocated the keys to their house in Glenshamrock Drive in 1956, the house they have lived in all their married life. They have three children Alex was born in 1956, followed by David in 1959 and Anne in 1962. They now also have 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Blackpool was a favourite holiday destination for Daw and Sadie and they recently celebrated the marvellous milestone they have achieved with a couple of nights in St Anne’s with the whole family, taking a wee bus ride in to Blackpool for the day for a trip down memory lane. The races at Ayr and Carlisle are also favourite days out for Daw – he doesn’t always win but the pals he goes with are certainly winners as Daw keeps them well fed with his home baking for the journeys!

Daw & Sadie are well known, admired, and respected within the village and have encouraged and participated greatly within local groups, no more so than at Auchinleck Bowling Club where both were members. Bowling was a great passion for them, and they still enjoy a few hours in the club on Friday evenings catching up with old friends.
